US tennis league arrives in Surprise in October

Tennis season has arrived in Surprise and the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex is in full swing as it prepares to welcome approximately 2,400 players, competing in several United States Tennis Association League National Championships this fall.
With more than 320,000 tennis players taking part each year, USTA League is the country’s largest adult competitive tennis league. Top teams from local league play earn the chance to compete in district and/or sectional championships, with the winners of sectionals advancing to USTA League National Championships.
USTA League National Championship schedule:
• Oct. 1-3 - Division: Adult 18 & Over 3.5
• Oct. 8-10 - Division: Adult 18 & Over 4.5
• Oct. 15-17 - Division: Adult 18 & Over 4.0
• Oct. 22-24 - Division: Adult 40 & Over 3.0
These events will take place at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex, 14469 W. Paradise Lane.

Guests are asked to maintain a safe social distance during competition, and masks are encouraged.
