Surprise's spring break camp signups open

Surprise hosting 5 days of fun, games at recreation center

The city of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering a one-week spring break camp for kids currently enrolled in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Campers will enjoy daily activities, arts and crafts, games and sports from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22 at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane.

Surprise resident registration begins Monday, February 5 for $30 per day and a $10 per child registration fee.

Non-resident registration begins Monday, February 12 for $34 per day and a $30 per child registration fee.

To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/Recreation and click on the “Break Camps” category.

Completed packets must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., to finalize registration. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The program is expected to fill quickly.
