The city of Surprise announced its summer break camp, an engaging program tailored for youth entering first through eighth grade, packed with daily activities, arts and crafts, games, sports, special guests and field trips.

Summer Camp 2024 will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays from May 28 through July 31. It will be held at Countryside Recreation Center, 15038 N. Parkview Place, for children entering grades first through fourth and at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane, for participants entering grades fifth through eighth.

To register for the camp, fees are $30 per resident child and $50 per non-resident child.

Daily fees are $30 for residents and $34 for non-residents.

The weekly fee is $150 for residents and $170 for non-residents.

Registration fee and payment for the first enrolled week are due at the time of registration.

Resident registration begins on Monday, March 25, and non-resident registration begins Monday, April 1.

To download a registration packet, head to surpriseaz.gov/Recreation and click on the “Youth Licensed Programs” category.

A completed packet must be turned in at the Parks and Recreation office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., to finalize registration.

Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Due to spring training games, there is a full closure of Bullard Avenue from Paradise to Tierra Buena lanes through March 30.

There are a limited number of spots available, and they will fill quickly, so register early.
