The Surprise City Council will have a packed agenda for its work session and regular meeting on Monday, March 18.

The city's Police Department will provide 2023 crime statistics for the city and may discuss any related topics related to law enforcement efforts, crime prevention and trends during the 5 p.m. work session at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.

In the 6 p.m. regular meeting, the council will be voting on possibly raising utility rates for water, wastewater and solid waste over the next five years.

The council will also likely take action on a rezoning request for the Legacy Village subdivision in the north part of the city.
