The city of Surprise Sunday in the Park series continues in January, February and April.
The first event of 2023 is happening from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 22 and will feature live music by Thaddeus Rose, various food trucks, an assortment of beers and wines, entertainment and more.
Event admission is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Don’t forget a blanket or lawn chair. Dogs must be leashed.
Sunday in the Park is held at Mark Coronado Park, 15850 N. Bullard Ave.
Future events include Feb. 19 with music by In-The-Mix and April 2 with music by 8 Tracks.
The February event will also feature a car show. Those who would like to participate can submit a registration form to surpriseaz.gov/surpriserec under the Special Events tab or in person at the Parks and Recreation Office, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.
Cars can also be entered the day of the event. Registration will start at 2 p.m.
