The city of Surprise has begun a series of pavement preservation projects this month on major and frequently traveled roads across the city to lengthen the life of the street surface.
The following roads will be receiving treatment, which will result in some road closures and restrictions. All work will be done between 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
• Oct. 5-13 and Nov. 20 — Sweetwater Avenue: Reems Road to Bullard Avenue. Sweetwater will be closed Saturday, Oct. 10. Expect single lane restrictions on the other workdays.
