The Surprise Police Department is hosting a motorcycle safety class from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 in the Surprise Stadium parking lot, 15850 N. Bullard Ave.
In addition to motorcycle safety product information, demonstrations and discussion, there will be time for participants to apply their learned skills on an interactive course, promoting optimal response to dangerous riding situations.
This course is for current motorcycle riders. A valid driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement, motorcycle and helmet are required to attend this class. This class is not for new riders to obtain an endorsement.
To apply, fill out an application at surpriseaz.gov/MotorcycleClass. Spots are limited, and selected participants will be notified prior to the class.
This class is made possible by funding from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation and RideNow Powersports Chandler also also partnering on this class.
