Ground Floor Artists, 13343 W. Foxfire Drive, Suite 3, will finish the month with a pair of acrylic painting classes.

They are:

• Acrylic Painting - Date Night Beach View is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 22.

This is an acrylic painting on a 16-by-20 canvas. Step by step instructions will be provided and at the end of the class, participants will go home with a piece of artwork.

Class is $70 per participant. All art supplies are included, as is an apron to keep clothes safe.

This class is BYOB. All bottle openers, glasses and any napkins or cutlery will need to be provided for each party.

Those interested need to register and pay using the following link.

• Acrylic Painting - Pop Your Pet is from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 27.

Those interested are asked to register online at this link.

Then class members need to send a pet photo. Submit a high resolution digital picture of the pet. The photo must be received no later than 72 hours prior to the class.

It is recommended that participants submit a full face or full face/body picture with a clear and uncluttered background of the pet. This allows Ground Floor to capture the pet completely as it preps the canvas.

The studio pops an outline of the pet onto the canvas and have it ready for the day of the class.

Ground Floor will give general guidance/suggestions on how to paint pop your pet. Participants can customize the pet painting to perfection. Fill in the blank/white spaces and can choose any color.

Come prepared with a general idea of what colors to paint the pet. The style is very similar to paint/color by number or fill in the blank spaces.

Class is $50 per participant. All art supplies are included, as is an apron to keep clothes safe.

The class will be using acrylic paint on a 16-by-20 canvas that participants. Pets are not allowed to attend the event.
