New safety equipment, including alert lighting fixtures with certain colors indicating different campus alert levels, was installed at Dysart Unified School District during the summer.
The visual notifications will be used to support specific safety protocols when activated on a campus.
“We are excited to elevate our safety protocols with this new addition to our buildings. Anything we can do to improve security and alert the community about safety events is a valuable investment,” said Superintendent John Croteau.
