More artistic traffic cabinets are coming to Surprise, but this time the north part of the city will get in on the act.

The city’s Arts and Cultural Advisory Commission will meet Wednesday with eight artists it selected this spring to design vinyl wraps for traffic boxes along 163rd Avenue. Those boxes will be coming later this year and in early 2027.

The commission meeting is at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 in the Program Room of the Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave.
