Jeannette Eleanor Riley, 108, of Scottsdale, died on Saturday, February 10th. She was born in 1915 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, to Deliva and Joseph Fugere. Jeannette drove an ambulance in support of the war effort, was a certified cosmetologist and was a successful self-employed beautician for over sixty years. She married William Riley in November 1944. Together, they enjoyed cruising and dancing. She is survived by their two children, Judy Riley and Debbie Jacquez.
Retiring to Arizona in 1998, Jeannette was the proud owner of several rescue puppies and enjoyed caring for Judy’s horses. Jeannette never hesitated to help anyone she encountered and was well loved by everyone.
Jeannette was an active member of the Church of the Ascension Roman Catholic church where her Memorial Service will be held on March 2nd at 11:00 am. There will be a service to follow.
