Mesa District 3 Councilmember Francisco Heredia is attending the Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s May 4 Operation #MesaTakeOut Zoom event.
The event, sponsored by Los Sombreros, is 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4. It is free to attend. Meeting information will be sent to RSVP’d attendees via email. Registration within mesachamber.org/events will close at 10:30 a.m. May 4.
“Grab your favorite Operation #MesaTakeOut and settle in for a little informal interaction at lunch time. Starting at 11:30, with take out lunch ready to go and settled in your happy spot, ‘Zoom on’ and let’s share some stories, your favorite meal and other chat,” according to a release.
Mr. Heredia was appointed to the Mesa City Council to fill the vacant District 3 seat on Sept. 28, 2017, and was elected in November 2018 to complete the term. He won re-election in August 2020 to a full four-year term that will run through January 2025.
He has experience working in government, working for both the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office and the U.S. Census Bureau. He spent time as the national field director of Mi Familia Vota and One Arizona, the KidsCare outreach coordinator for the Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System and as a prevention specialist for Chicanos Por la Causa, the release states.
