Zappa alum to join Stinkfoot Orchestra on Phoenix tour stop

14-piece Frank Zappa tribute band featuring Napoleon Murphy Brock coming to Rhythm Room

The Stinkfoot Orchestra, a Bay Area-based 14-piece ensemble dedicated to the music of Frank Zappa, will make its first trip to Phoenix this month.

Halfway through a spring tour that finds the group playing a headlining slot at the 34th Annual Balboa Park Global Earth Day Festival and two nights of after-parties in Las Vegas during Phish's residency at the Sphere, the band makes a stop at the Rhythm Room on Thursday, April 23.

Known for bringing Zappa’s technically demanding and genre-defying music to life via an ensemble featuring a six-piece horn section, five vocalists, and tuned percussion, The Stinkfoot Orchestra has built a loyal following up and down the West Coast.
