Christmas, Hanukkah favorites lead Dec. 17 program

West Valley Symphony’s December concert, “Happy Holidays,” features the audience-favorite side-by-side performance with the West Valley Youth Orchestra.

The concert starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Valley Vista Performing Arts Center, 15550 N. Parkview Place in Surprise.

This year Ken Goodenberger will be joining the performance to narrate the holiday favorite “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” The concert includes a traditional Hanukkah medley, selections from the everpopular Nutcracker Suite, Anderson’s Christmas Festival and surprise lighter holiday selections. Get tickets early for this sell-out event. The concert is sponsored by Bette Aronsohn.

West Valley Symphony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional performing arts organization located in Surprise. Since its incorporation in 1968, the symphony produces five live classical and pops concerts each season at the Valley Vista Performing Arts Center from November through March. Led by Maestro Cal Stewart Kellogg, West Valley Symphony joins together professional musicians from across the Phoenix-metro area to share their talents with audiences.
