When the theater group Stage Left Productions bolted Surprise’s Bel Mar Plaza for Glendale last fall, it left a void in community theater in the city.
But that absence didn’t last long, thanks to a new youth community theater that moved right in and is now growing by leaps and bounds in its first few months.
The Actors PLAYground Theater Company at 11340 W. Bell Road, Suite 105, is celebrating its first season in its new 80-seat location, bringing stage standards such as “Snow White” and “Charlotte’s Web” to the city.
