Independent Newsmedia presents as the next installment in the second season of the YourValley In The Know podcast, a one-on-one interview with Jamie Boggs, the first female athletic director in the history of Grand Canyon University.
Earlier this week, Ms. Boggs accepted the position at the helm of the university’s 21 sports teams, becoming the first woman and first woman of color to have the job.
She previously spent time in the compliance department of Duke University --- a perfect fit for her law degree --- and the athletics department at Georgia State University.
