Beyond a broadband capacity grant that will help expedite connection speeds in two areas of the city that lack it, Surprise-based Wyyerd Fiber is looking to fill other gaps in far-flung areas of the city and the Valley.
The next phase is completing fiber connections in Sun City West, Sun City Grand, Asante, Surprise Farms, Sierra Montana and Marley Park, said Jennifer Rogers, Wyyerd’s director of expansion.
“All the fiber has to touch before we can fully be service ready. We’re going to wait until all the infra-structure is in place before we sell the service,” Rogers said.
