A man has died after being stung by bees in Scottsdale, police said.

Three people were stung by bees Monday morning at the Vi at Silverstone Independent Living facility, and one has died, Scottsdale police said.
The three were taken to a hospital about 9:30 a.m. July 7. Two were reported to be in stable condition.
“Sadly, one of the three people stung has died at the hospital. Initial reporting from (police) at the scene says the three people who were stung were part of a work crew who were working on the roof of the facility,” a police department release stated.

A death investigation is being conducted by Scottsdale Police Department and the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner.
