The West Valley Regional Chamber has experienced a period of rapid expansion over the past five years. Now, as the region itself continues to grow, Megan Word is taking over as the chamber’s new board chair and is hoping to keep that momentum going.
Word, who began her one-year-term July 1, has already had a packed schedule, including a board retreat, the kickoff of the chamber’s new President’s Leadership Council and several other networking events.
“July is a busy month for sure, so It was kind of like a baptism by fire.” Word said.
