The Women’s Collective, a 501c3 non-profit organization, has awarded grants to four organizations that align with their mission of inspiring and elevating women leaders. The four organizations to receive the grant awards are Take the Lead Inc., Dress for Success Phoenix, Scottsdale Public Library and Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence.

“Supporting and encouraging women to progress into leadership roles through funding and mentorship is what The Women’s Collective’s work is all about and this is just the beginning,” said Kira Peters, who is a founding member and Vice Chair of The WC organization.

The fundraising of The Women’s Collective continues as they host the second annual Night Run, a 5K event sponsored by Tiffany & Bosco and SpearMC, Saturday, Nov. 4, in partnership with Canal Convergence, the free public art event on the Scottsdale Waterfront.

“The Night Run is more than just a race – it’s an opportunity for individuals and families to come together, enjoy a beautiful evening and contribute to a meaningful cause,” said Jona Davis, Chair of The Women’s Collective. “Proceeds from the event go toward inspiring and elevating women leaders in our community.”

The run begins 5:30 p.m. out and back along the canal. Registration is $45; visit The-WC.org/events to register and for more information.

Registration includes a t-shirt, swag bags, opportunities to win cash prizes, SMoCA unlimited guest passes, One Water Brewing showcase prize tickets and post-race refreshments.
