Phoenix police detectives are investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that left a 41-year-old woman dead, and they suspect speeding may have been a factor.
Officers responded about 11:15 p.m. Jan. 20 to 67th and Clarendon avenues where they found Daniela Perez, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
Preliminary information suggests Perez was driving north on 67th Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle, striking a curb, a light pole and a block wall before her vehicle flipped over.
Speed appears to be a factor, police said.
