Woman, 29, dies after her motorcycle collides with vehicle: Phoenix PD

A 29-year-old woman is dead after a Monday night collision near 36th and Oak streets in Phoenix where the motorcycle she was operating collided with another vehicle, police said.

Detectives are investigating the crash that occurred about 9 p.m. Dec. 4.

Taylor Tobias was taken to a hospital where she later died. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene, authorities said.

Early information indicates the motorcyclist was heading north on 36th Street when a vehicle turned left in front of her at Oak Street. and the collision occurred, according to a release.

The driver of the vehicle showed no signs of impairment. Impairment is unknown for the motorcyclist, police said, adding the investigation is continuing.
