The WM Phoenix Open, also known as the People’s Open, is set for Feb. 2-8, and it will bring just that — people, and lots of them.

Calls for service from Scottsdale Police officers sky rocketed from 653 in 2024 to 1,011 in 2025, according to police records. Arrests were up from 54 in 2024 to 63 this last year. Ejections increased from 211 in 2024 to 319 last year.
