WM Phoenix Open a zero waste event for last 11 years

Cooperation from sponsors, vendors, patrons is key

In about five weeks, hundreds of thousands of fans are going to descend on the TPC Scottsdale golf course for the WM Phoenix Open.

They will be eating and drinking and having a good time but none of the refuse they leave behind will make it into the landfill.

That’s because the WM Phoenix Open, one of the most popular events on the PGA tour, is also known as “The Greenest Show on Grass.”
