With Lake a no-show, Lamb handles GOP primary debate alone

What was supposed to be a debate between candidates vying for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat in Arizona turned into a discussion when only one candidate showed up.

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, decked out in a suit wearing his ubiquitous Stetson, stood on the stage alone at Wednesday’s debate organized by the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission and Arizona Media Association after Kari Lake declined an invitation to appear.
