Even in December, it’s still pleasantly golf weather in the Sun Cities.
The Winter Celebration Golf Tournament-Beat the Pros takes place with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on Dec. 4 on North Golf Course, 12650 N. 107th Ave., in Sun City.
For this tournament, all ladies will play from the gold tees. Men 70 years of age and older will play from the red tees, and all other men will play from the white tees.
Entry fee is 40 per person, and the entry deadline is Nov. 27. Entry forms are available at all RCSC golf pro shops.
Proceeds benefit the Del Webb Sun Cities Historical Museum.

Meanwhile, all golfers are invited to enjoy an afternoon of golf with friends and at the same time help fight cancer through the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Sun City West at the Corte Bella Golf Club, 22129 N Mission Dr., on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
It is scramble format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. There is a $100 registration fee, which includes green fees, range balls, cart, dinner and ACS donation. There will be prizes and raffles. Hole sponsorships are also available.
