A lottery ticket sold 180 days ago at a Mesa Safeway was not claimed by Monday’s deadline.
Lottery officials said the person who purchased the winning The Pick ticket at the Safeway at Alma School and Guadalupe roads failed to come forward by the Oct. 24 deadline.
The winning number for the April 27 drawing were: 9, 13, 18, 29, 32, 34.
The ticket could have been claimed as an annuity, or the buyer could have asked for cash, which would have been $2.15 million before taxes, officials said.
The largest Arizona Lottery unclaimed prize also was The Pick jackpot. That $14.6 million prize expired in December 2019.
