Judging from Trumps recent comments, the next phase of his election dispute will be the Great Excuse.

The Supreme Court will not validate his claim of privilege and then he and his cronies will make public rationalizations for their attempted coup.

He and they will claim to be patriots who were trying to protect democracy by stopping the certification of a new president.
