Wilma C. Allen Hoovler, was born February 16, 1925 in Maytown, KY to Arnold Ray Cassady and Martha Ann Ward Cassady. She died in Sun City West, AZ on June 3, 2017. Wilma married Bill Curtis Allen in 1947 and after 48 years of marriage, Bill lost his battle with Parkinson's disease, in 1995. In 2002, Wilma met Paul V. Hoovler at church. They married in October of 2002. They were members of Covenant Presbyterian Church, and then Palm West Community Church. In 2011, another love entered Wilma's life Toro, her beloved Chihuahua. Toro was Wilma's constant companion, the child she never had, and the only competition for her affection for Paul. Wilma took care of house and home, allowing Paul the liberty to spend time on the second love of his life - caring for the landscape and properties of his church.During her lifetime and especially as her death approached, Wilma was sustained through her life by her powerful, unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith brought her great joy and peace, and contributed to her gentle, accepting nature. No matter the hardship, Wilma never complained. She is survived by her husband, Paul V. Hoovler; her sister Freda Nipp; her niece Teresa (Tom) Ebert; her nephew-in-law Rudy ickinson; her great-niece Jillian Ebert Dumes; her great-nephews Scott and Jason Dickinson; several great-great nephews and nieces; Paul's children Matthew (Michele), Drew and Tyler Hoovler; Paul's grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas, Andrew and Rachel Hoovler.She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Ray Cassady and Martbha Ann Ward Cassady; her first husband, William Curtis Allen; her twin sister Thelma Cassady Turner; her brother Austin Cassady; her niece, Marquetta Dickinson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 10:30 A.M. at Palm West Community Church, 13845 W. Stardust Blvd., Sun City West, AZ.
