William 'Boy' Torrez, 52William "Boy" Torrez, 52, of Apache Junction, passed away Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 in his home.Boy was born Sept. 8, 1956 in Ray-Sonora, Ariz. to Guillermo and Juanita Torrez. He grew up in Ray-Sonora and Superior, Ariz.He was a great brother and was very loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.Survivors include his significant other, Dorothy Macias; sisters, Mary T. (Richard) Huerta of Kearny, Ariz., Carmen (Pete) Eudave of Superior, Ariz., Annie Caballero of Phoenix, Ariz., Juanita (Albino) Costonon of Superior, Ariz., Rose (Merle) Barnum of Billings, Mont.; brothers, Rufino G. (Merlene) Torrez of Dudleyville, Ariz., Joe Torrez of Winkelman, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen Torrez Avalos of Superior, Ariz.Services were held March 31 in Apache Junction.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to William Torrez fund, care of Apache Junction Mortuary.Apache Junction Mortuary handled arrangements.
