William Schattenker

William SchattenkerWilliam "Schat" Schattenkerk of Sun City, was called to a better place on Feb. 14, 2007. He was born in Seattle, Wash., on Nov. 7, 1941, raised in Leavenworth, Wash., and later resided in Maple Valley, Wash. In 2001 he retired to Sun City, with his wife, Helen. Schat was a veteran of the United States Army. Over the past seven years while living in Sun City, he most enjoyed golfing, bowling, helping others and bringing people together. Mr. Schattenkerk is survived by Helen, his dear friend of many years and wife of 12. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Paige Gill, and grandsons, Brendon and Cody. Schat also leaves behind his two sons, Scott and Jeff; cousin, Ginger Huson; three stepchildren and four other grandchildren.
