William Scardina, 61William C. Scardina, 61, of North Scottsdale, passed away Feb. 17 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born Jan. 20, 1947 in Monterey, Calif.He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Paula (nee Tegtmeier); loving son Christopher and his wife Jennifer of Addison, Ill., grandson Andrew, brother James (Mary) of Vernon Hills, Ill., brother John (Karey) Scardina of Pleasant Prairie, Wis. Mr. Scardina was uncle to Brian (Michelle), Jonathan, Tim, Justin, Jessica, Joey, Megan (Dave), John (Heather), Kim (Gabe), Caleb, Cora and Anna and great uncle to new baby Nicholas born Feb. 13, Jason, Jacob, Sierra, Summer and Austin. He is also survived by brother/sister-in-law Billy (Cindy) Tegtmeier of Crystal Lake, Ill., sister/brother-in-law Marcy (Wade) Schwan of Morgan Hill, Calif., sister-in-law Ginger Sebastian of Chicago, Ill. Mother/father-in-law William and Shirley Tegtmeier of Crystal Lake, Ill. He was a very special friend/brother to Michael (Maureen) Stramaglio of Scottsdale. He is also survived by many special cousins and friends. Mr. Scardina was preceded in death by his mother, Jean and father John Scardina, aunts, uncles and his precious little puppy, Tasha. He was a member and on the Board of Directors of the Black Mountain Motorcycle Club as well as being a mortgage broker in Scottsdale. He was also a member of the North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce. He served in the Illinois Army National Guard. There will be a "Celebration of Life" service for Mr. Scardina Sunday, March 9 at the Messenger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 Pinnacle Peak Road.
