William "Bill" Harold Gotcher, 86, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on February 13, 2018 following a brief illness.He leaves his daughters, Yolanda Alvarez, Elvia G. Singleton, Betty Gotcher, and Laura Friday; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Navarro, Maria Trevino, Patrick Lantz, Christina Pattugalan, Reuben Magdaleno, Steven Magdaleno, Martin Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Elizabeth Friday, and Michael Friday; his great-grandchildren, Gabriel Navarro, Julian Trevino, Jordan Trevino, Jayden Trevino, and Kaden Ortiz.He is preceded in death by his wife Fransisca Gotcher and his parents Laura and Harold Gotcher.Bill was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was German-American who served his country as a member of the Army Airforce until 1949 and later worked as a public servant retiring as a Warden for Arizona Department of Corrections in 1996. Bill loved the Mexican culture. He spent six years living in San Luis, R.C. Mexico where he fell in love with and married his wife, Francis. Bill was an avid golfer as a longtime member of Recreation Centers of Sun City (RCSC). He also had a passion for fishing and held an Arizona Lifetime Fishing license. As a devoted brother, father, grandfather and loyal friend, he will be missed every day.The celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday, February 23rd at Sunland Memorial Cemetery beginning with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in their Chapel located at 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
