William George Gardner, 86, of Sun City, AZ, died peacefully March 12, 2017 at Sherman House in Phoenix, AZ. Born and raised May 10, 1930 to George & Marie Gardner in Chicago, IL. He spent most of his adult life living in Hinsdale, IL, where he worked in Chicago as an Assets Manager. Upon his retirement, he moved to Westbrook Village in Peoria, AZ; and then to Sun City, AZ where he enjoyed gardening, swimming and the many friendships that he had formed. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara (Gardner) Belder and leaves behind his nephews David and Garrett Belder. His smile brightened the lives of people he met and will truly be missed by all.A memorial service, will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
