William Edward Brinkman

William Edward Brinkman, 77, of Fort Collins, Colorado and Sun City West, Arizona, has passed away from a longtime battle with Parkinson's on August 5, 2023. He was born in Bucyrus, Ohio, on May 5, 1946 to Ross and Jean Brinkman who preceded him in death. His oldest brother, Ross Jr., also preceded him in death. He grew up in Bucyrus, graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1964 and marrying his high school sweetheart, Linda Culver, who also preceded him in death. In 1974, Bill and his family moved to Colorado where he had been a real estate broker for over thirty years, retiring from RE/MAX Advanced in 2011. His active lifestyle included golf, pickleball and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. Bill is well known for his wit and wisdom, his hard work and kindness. He was personable and playful, a jokester never without a quip. He will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Bill leaves behind a brother, Gregg Brinkman and sister-in-law, Judy Brinkman, of Bucyrus, Ohio, a son, Jay Brinkman of Fort Collins, Colorado, a daughter, Shelane Brinkman and son-in-law, Bobby Howard, of Phoenix, Arizona. Per Bill's wishes, there will be no memorial service.
