SUN CITY - William A. Painter, 76, of Sun City, passed away on April 18, 2011. Bill was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on July 10, 1934. After graduating from Bellefontaine High School, he served in the army for 3 years as a paratrooper. In 1955 he married his high school sweetheart, Sue Richardson. They had three children, whereupon they moved to Dayton, Ohio. Bill worked as a barber, salesman, and later as a pastoral associate at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. He graduated in 1969 from Central State University and received his Master's in Theology from Athenaeum of Ohio in 1990. Bill and Sue retired to Sun City in 2003, where he volunteered for the Historical Society and Computer Club. Other than his wife, his passions included golf, wine, travel, and learning. He will be remembered for his loving nature, vibrant and fun personality, and devotion to his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Chris (Bev); daughters, Patti and Diane (Wade); and seven grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
