Why there’s no Phoenix stop on Alice Cooper’s spring tour

Valley legend opened new tour leg this week, planning autobiography release in October

Alice Cooper on Tuesday launched the spring leg of his Alice’s Attic U.S. tour.

The Valley rock icon treated San Antonio fans to a healthy helping of hits from his and the band’s 60-year-plus Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career. “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “I’m Eighteen,” “Ballad of Dwight Fry,” and “School’s Out” were just some on the 24-song setlist.

The tour will run through May 9 at which time Alice will return to Las Vegas for three shows later in the month. The band will then embark on a European leg over the summer, and more shows are expected in the fall.
