Why didn’t Trump address Musk’s attack on Kelly, reader wonders

It was funny to read the comment reference civility having to do with Sen. Mark Kelly when considering the very low bar that has been set by President Trump since taking over the Republican Party.
The personal, false accusations and completely uncalled-for attack on Kelly by Elon Musk could not be left unchallenged.
If Trump were an honorable man, he would have addressed Musk’s outburst (like the late Sen. John McCain did), but that sort of moral courage doesn’t appear to be in Trump's repertoire.
