White Castle opens in Tempe Nov. 28

The second White Castle in Arizona will debut in Tempe with fanfare and a ribbon-cutting at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Tempe's White Castle – located at 8735 S. Jewel St., near the intersection of I-10 and Warner  – is the second Arizona location for the family-owned business, a press release explained.

The first opened in Scottsdale in the fall of 2019. Cravers throughout the East Valley have eagerly anticipated this new, convenient location that will employ up to 70 team members and managers.

In order to provide the best customer service possible during the opening, the Tempe White Castle temporarily will limit its hours to 8 to 1 a.m. daily and there will be a 60-slider maximum order. There will initially be no online or delivery orders.

Customer parking is limited and temporarily located just east of Total Wine. Some handicapped spots are located on-site. Please follow posted signs.

Additionally, the new Tempe White Castle plans to focus on its commitment to community and giving back from day one.

White Castle has named the Tempe Police Foundation as its partner of choice for its inaugural ‘Round Up’ campaign – where customers are encouraged to support an important local cause by ‘rounding up’ their purchase to the next even dollar level.  The round-up program will continue through the end of the year.

“We are thankful for the Tempe Police Foundation and the positive difference they make in our community every day.  We hope to raise awareness and funds for the important work they are doing," White Castle Vice President Mike Guinan said in the release.
