Wheat: Some thoughts on soft drinks and cup sizes

If convenient stores that sell soft drinks would cut back on the size of the drink cups (I suggest 12 ounces) they offer they too would be better off.

What is the benefit?

Wheat: Some thoughts on soft drinks and cup sizes

Posted

If convenient stores that sell soft drinks would cut back on the size of the drink cups (I suggest 12 ounces) they offer they too would be better off.

What is the benefit?

Using one size cup would make inventory control easier, less space needed to store inventory.

Smaller cups would use less water and ice.

Smaller cups would mean better health for the customers because they would not be putting tons of sugar into their body.

You and I have both seen people buying a soft drink in the 32-ounce size and then going back for a refill. Hey! If they wouldn’t help themselves then somebody has to, and the first line of defense should be the convenient stores.

Water is a real problem, especially with the influx of people coming across our border, so maybe when we run out of water this idea may take hold.
