What to do on Memorial Day

Two places in Tempe are celebrating Memorial Day as not just a day off of school or work, but a day to remember all who have served in the nation’s miltary.

Tempe’s American Legion Post 2 will be placing flags on the graves of fallen soldiers at the Double Butte Cemetery in the morning with a 1 p.m. potluck to follow.

Krista Edmundson, head bartender at the Post said that they look forward to keeping the stories of fallen soldiers alive.
