85% of schools received A or B label from Arizona Department of Education

Peoria Unified recently released grade labels for the district’s 42 graded schools.

Peoria Unified has released letter grades for its 42 graded schools, with 85% receiving an A or B label for the 2022-23 school year. Four schools increased their grade by one letter and 19 increased their earned percentage points.

The Arizona Department of Education is required by state law to develop an annual achievement profile for every public school in the state based on an A through F scale.

The Arizona State Board of Education has final adoption.
