Westgate is planning a July Fourth event complete with fireworks and live music.
The Glendale-based entertainment complex will host party traditions for “Fireworks for the 4th” on site at 6751 N. Sunset Blvd., on Sunday, July 4. Face painting (5-9 p.m.), balloon twisting (5-9 p.m.), and a chalk walk with murals painted on plaza pavers will give way to a fireworks display starting at 9 p.m.
Live music will feature performances by 3 Alarm, a three-piece ’80s rock band at 5 p.m., and KC Angels, doing covers ranging from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys and Tom Petty and Jimi Hendrix, at 7:30 p.m. Both bands will take the stage inside Fountain Park.
