An entity tracing to Sculptor Capital Management acquired Western Skies Golf Club for $12.1 million March 14 from an entity tracing to C-Bons International Golf Group Management, according to commercial real estate website vizzda.com.
There was no debt recorded with the sale of the Gilbert golf course. Sculptor Capital is an American hedge fund group based in New York City.
Western Skies, 1245 E. Warner Road, Gilbert, is an 18-hole, 6,700-yard championship golf course. It was built in 1993 on 138.11 acres zoned public facility/institutional by the town of Gilbert.
The property includes a 7,110-square-foot pro shop and 7,658 square feet of storage space.
