The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for a closure on U.S. Highway 60 Superstition Freeway in Mesa for pavement rehabilitation beginning Friday, March 3.
Westbound US60 will be closed between Stapley Drive and Loop 101 from 9 p.m. Friday, March 3, through 5 a.m. Monday, March 6.
The westbound US 60 on-ramps at Gilbert Road and Val Vista Drive also will be closed.
Detours: Drivers can consider using Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to connect with their destinations to the north of US60 and Baseline or Guadalupe roads south of US60.
Upcoming closures:
The pavement improvement work along 14 miles of US60 will occur over several months and will require numerous closures.
