West Valley resale shops adapt to squeeze of supply chain

Phoenix's second-hand industry aims to provide customers options

Some local resale shops are adapting to recent supply shortages rather than letting shortages clamp down on sales.

Sue Slezak, manager at Sun City’s Sun Health Resale Boutique and Sun Health Resale Shop in Sun City West, said community donations have helped keep the resale shops afloat during the past several weeks.

Each shop offers its customers selections of vintage, collectibles, and specialty items — some that are unique and one-of-akind, according to a press release.
