West Valley police agency investigates 2 separate school threats on same day

The Buckeye Police Department on Thursday looked into two separate school threats, one of which led to a teen going to jail, authorities said.

The Jan. 8 investigations took place this week at Youngker High School and Westpark Elementary School.

“These are two very different incidents that are unrelated and involving two separate school districts,” Carissa Planalp, public information officer for the department, said Friday.
