West Valley PD launches senior safety program

The Buckeye Police Department has started a program to help keep local seniors safe.

Buckeye Cares allows seniors to enroll for weekly check-ins from police personnel to ensure they are well and to offer assistance if needed, according to a release.

Buckeye Cares is a voluntary program for seniors who live alone or are homebound and live within the city.
