West Valley PD investigates bomb threat hoaxes at 4 school campuses

The Buckeye Police Department has determined that bomb threats at several West Valley schools on March 19 were hoaxes.

Buckeye authorities have given the “all clear” at four school campuses that reported bomb threats Thursday morning, police said.

No threats were found at the campuses: Canyon View and Verrado high schools, Verrado Elementary and Middle schools and Festival Foothills Elementary School.

Buckeye police were notified about 7 a.m. March 19 that a staff member at Canyon View High School received a voicemail from someone claiming to have bombs on the campus.
