A 33-year-old Avondale man has been sentenced to 64 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, authorities said Wednesday.
Ramon Renteria will be on four years of supervised release after he serves time in prison and also will have to pay $7,000 in community restitution, according to the Arizona district of the U.S. Attorney's Office.
On Dec. 2, 2020, law enforcement seized approximately 31.1 kilograms of methamphetamine in connection with Renteria’s role coordinating the transportation of drug loads from Tucson to Phoenix, officials said.
